Description
This is a large sized Bobtail Canvasback decoy from about 1930. It is a handmade item and is in great condition! Original paint, bead eyes and has artist markings on the base (see attached photos). The artist initials “R D” are stamped indicating it was made by Robert Denike of LaSalle, Ontario. This decoy would likely have been used on Lake Erie.
Great historic duck decoy with a large size! It measures approximately 15″ long, 7″ wide and 7 1/2″ tall. Buy this vintage decoy for the collection or as a feature piece. Display in the lodge, cabin, mancave or office.
