Here we have a great bronze art piece by Robert (Bob) Winship. It depicts a great looking Labrador Retriever standing at attention with tail held high. Titled “Amos” it is a solid bronze piece with a great wood oval base (or plinth). A great collectors piece number “1/25” in the bronze. Also dated “1987 by Bob Winship” and has the title “Amos”.
Robert Winship is widely known for his bronze works. From Minnesota, he is recognized for wildlife and hunting subjects. His bronzes are collectible and are actively sought after.
Amos is a heavy piece due to solid bronze and wood construction. The base is approximately 12″ in length and 7 1/2″ deep. The total height is just a little over 8 inches. All is in great condition with the exception of a few scratches on the under side of the base. None that are visible when sitting. (See attached photos.)
This piece would go great with a collection or as a stand alone piece for the lodge, cabin, den or office… This subject matter is a hit with the hunter or dog enthusiast.
