Here we have a medium sized Grizzly bear skin rug to offer. To start with it is a bear that measures 68″ (inches) nose to tail. It has great coloring and very long fur/hair. The backing is a double layer of felt with tan over a dark brown. This bear displays an open-mouth pose. Now to the disappointing news that this bear skin rug is missing 3 claws from the front left foot (see attached photos). Depending upon how this is displayed, it may or may not be very noticeable to the casual observation. None the less, this is a serious (and unfortunate) detractor to this item. Because of the damage, this taxidermy item has been rated as “Nice” for overall quality and appearance. The rug itself is terrific, but the damage is a weight to the rating.
Overall rug size is approximately 78″ long and 72″ wide (front paws). The width at hind legs measures 63″. Great coloring with a darker brown on the legs and growing lighter as you approach the back. Great thick, long fur throughout the skin. Buy this taxidermy for display in the lodge, cabin, home or business.
