Here we have a large sized bear skin rug for the lodge, cabin, den or office. The length of this bear, nose to tail, is 75″, which classifies this as a large bear for the species. This is a black bear that is in the brown phase with a very unique color pattern… It has colors ranging from a white blaze on the chest to tan on the flanks and from a cinnamon red to rich brown on the back. A beautiful colored bear. Also it has wonderful workmanship on the taxidermy with a quilted backing and a double felt liner. Additionally it has rings for wall hanging sewn into the backing.
This bear rug can be displayed with a collection of rugs, furs or hides from North American predators. Or it can be a feature piece for the home or business to show. Overall size of this large bear is 85″ in length and 79″ at the front paws. All claws are intact and the head features an open mouth pose (see attached photos). This bear skin rug achieves the score of “Premier” and would do justice to any collection or display.
