Description
Here is a vintage real-skin Brown trout. Overall great condition for an older mount. There is a small bit of color missing on the end of the tail and a few cracks in the skin that are visible on close inspection (see attached photos), but given the age, it has held up very well. A nice sized fish that measures out at 29″. I estimate that this fish would have weighed about 15 pounds.
Overall mount size is 27 1/2″ long by 13 1/4″ high. Nice vintage taxidermy item with a vintage plaque and brass decor background. Add this trout to a collection of North American fish or buy to display as a stand alone item for the lodge, cabin, home or office.
