This is a great example of a Rocky Mountain Goat billy. This taxidermy shoulder mount features a head forward, looking left pose. A very nice goat with good hair length and coloring. Mountain goats make a great feature piece or center piece to a collection of North American large game species. This mount scores a “Nice” rating. The horns, while nice sized, are not very symmetrical and the one side has a smaller top than the other (see attached photos).
Horn lengths are 6 6/8″ and 6 4/8″ with base circumferences of 3 3/8″ and 3 4/8″. This yields a rough score of 20 1/8″ for the Safari Club chart. Overall mount dimensions are 14″ deep x 10″ wide x 20″ high.
