Description
This is a Barbary Stag taxidermy shoulder mount with a slightly turned head, looking forward into the room. Also known as Atlas Deer of African Elk, this is the only species of deer native to Africa. This example has a 4 x 4 rack with good length and width on the antlers. Nice even coloring displayed on this coat with good hair thickness. Overall mount quality rates as “Excellent” for appearance and workmanship.
Overall mount size measures 39″ tall, 14″ wide and 21″ deep (wall to nose). Mount hangs on a single fastener with the attached bracket. Buy this taxidermy to add to a collection of African mounts or a standalone conversation piece. Display this item in the lodge, cabin, man-cave or business.
